Electric London Founder, Mark Woolley, says hairdressing will always be a part of who he is
On a snowy February day in Toronto, editors braved a pummeling winter storm; it seems nothing would stop them from getting their hair done by Celebrity Stylist and Electric London Founder Mark Woolley.
Woolley stopped by Toronto on his way back to the U.K. and was thrilled to meet with the top Canadian editors and writers in the country. Woolley has won Hair magazine’s ‘Salon Stylist of the Year’. He has also had multiple wins at The Creative Head Most Wanted Awards and previous British Hairdressing Business Awards which has elevated him into the hairdressing elite.
As a well-respected figure within the industry, Mark is the Global Brand Ambassador for iconic brush manufacturer Denman International, a member of L’Oréal Portfolio of Artistic Hairdressers and is active within the Fellowship for British Hairdressing.
“I love working on product development and finding ways to make products better than what is already out there, but no matter what, I think I will always keep doing hair,” says Woolley. “It was how I started and I don’t think I would ever want to stop.”
Canadian editors were not just game for a styling by Woolley, they entrusted him to cut, trim and reshape some of their hairstyles – and all were extremely happy with the results.
